Gas up the DeLorean, pour a sip of hot tub time-machine water, and blast into the past with Trouts Fly Shop's "Throwback Flyfishing Film Fest" on February 5, at Denver's Oriental Theater.

The second annual retro-film showcase pays homage to Colorado-born filmmaker RA Beattie and his fish-centric smash hits — including When Guiding Goes Gangster, Off the Grid, and The Arctic. RA will be in the house to wax poetic on the origins of fish porn, and he'll be joined by an all-star lineup of special guests.

ALL proceeds are earmarked for Denver Trout Unlimited's (DTU's) commitment to raise South Platte River flows through the Mile High City. With help from esteemed sponsors R.L. Winston Rod Co., Yeti Coolers, Ross Reels, Simms Fishing Products, Fishpond, Abel Reels, and Costa, Trouts will be raffling off the latest and greatest flyfishing gear for you to put to work on the water.

Doors open @ 7 p.m. All ages welcome. Reserve your tickets, here.
