Well done, Flatfoot! I'm 60 days from retiring after 29 years on the job. It does my heart good to see another LEO living retirement the right way! Between marrying well and keeping that strong & the angling you have got it figured out.

I use a floorless Scandinavian canvas tent that looks like a low, wide teepee. Called a Laavu. 12 ' diameter. You can buy one from NOrthern Laavu in Minnesota. I run a Four Dogs woodstove in it when I need the warmth. I can set it up in about 30 minutes with a short stepstool. I use a nicer cot that...

Been working too much. 50 degrees and sunny in Northern Indiana in November is a gift. The god was also happy.

Honoring our fathers is indicative of how they were as dads and how they nurtured us. Well done, sir. This brought back a lot of memories of my own Pop. I believe it's also a practical example to our children on how to honor others that will come full circle. We are blessed if we were raised by Men.

Spent a spectacular few days in 2001 on the Tanalion River/Lake Clark catching Grayling one after the other. Never changed out my muddler until it got too chewed up. Beautiful fish and tasty with a coating of Garlic aioli and ritz cracker crumbs!
