Been awhile since I've been here. Moved my family to Seattle/Tacoma area due to health issues with our youngest, mostly to work with a geneticist at Seattle Children's. Long hard year filled with lots of trips to the hospital, various doctors and tests. Thankfully our little guy is hanging in there ...

WTF was on that Triscuit with the cheese and pepper?!

The bar seems lower than I recalled, liked the B portion, which I generally am far too late to see...

Haven't been around much lately. Dealing with a sick child, been a rough year. Moved to the PNW for doctors and climate. Gotten to trudge up and down some pretty water, hit some beaches, generally remembering just how much I've missed spending time alone on the water. Some pics below, thought I'd sh...

Not on here much anymore, but just (like last week) moved to WA. Hope to fish a bit more than in the desert. I'd be in for this. Hitting the beaches again today for resident coho and searun cuts...

Do your algae flies float? They should. Some do, some don't... These fish are in a manicured metro park, so when they mow the grass, the fish will often eat off the top. The 2 fish I landed blind both ate algae flies in the film, never saw them eat though, so my guess is my fly had sunk slightly (b...

I remember really enjoying the book when I read it. I was also half in the bag for probably about 80% of the read, was still in school, and had no desire to do anything but fish and get laid. I think one had to read this at the appropriate juncture in life to fully appreciate, I doubt I'd care for i...

Carp, that is. Been awhile, just started fishing a bit again after a long hiatus. Not too much going out here in the desert, but been chasing the carp from time to time. My success rate on commons is about what you'd expect, that is, on the rare occasion when I do everything right, I get a bite abou...

Want to do some redfishing over the Christmas break, take my Dad somewhere in LA for a few days... Any thoughts/advice? Never fished that area, thanks guys. Only concern is a good guy who will be patient with my Pops, I'm pretty self-sufficient. Sorry, was in a hurry, generic offering but always lik...
