Re: Things that make me Happy...Other than Thongs

KIMG0308.JPG I have had a visitor most mornings when I go out to do garden chores. He is a real beauty. Who knows where he came from as the OP with its marine environment is not exactly their chosen habitat. This morning I was pleased when he brought a girlfriend by. She was a little shy but there ...

Re: A Confession
Not to worry. I’m on “soccertots “ coaching duty instead. Sure wish I could get my ass kicked by those fish again. Seems like my fishing is defined more by the fish I don’t catch than those I do these days.
You will be missed this year. I can just hear it now. Angler: "Kinda wish Y...

Re: Winter (?) Steelhead Fishing

Really good. Are watermasters really that junky or was yours special? I have at least 8 years of 6 to 8 weeks a year on both of mine. I chose to upgrade to Caviness oars right from the gitgo but have not had issue one with either boat inspite of their being ridden hard, at times by, ahem, less than...

Re: Bing Lempke or Charles Brooks flies

I can Make some signature cards! Who's signature do you want on them? And I actually have some of Charlie's flies given to me during a long night of Scotch consumption at his house outside of West Y in the early 80's. Stoneflies tied in the round. Perhaps we can join forces and turn a profit. Other...

Re: Friday Cheer Through Pics

Yard, perhaps we should schedule a meeting there. Caught my very first swinging a fly at the Deadline, in 1986, I believe. Got three more the next day and spent the rest of the week without a pull thus getting my daily average down to a much more appropriate level. Things have not been the same sinc...
