Hello the Suck, long time no see. Since last we spoke , the rugrat became a 5 year old, and starts kindergarten next week. A new rugrat has taken over his former responsibilities of crying, sleeping poorly, and occasional pooping of pants. I wouldn't have it any other way, at least most of the time....

Trying to parse your post was a waste of time, but if you hiked "3-4 miles" upstream into the canyon from any public access, you were trespassing on private property to get there.

The footage from the mouth of the Big T is especially incomprehensible to me.

I fished the upper canyon yesterday. Everything below Pingree looks like this: http://i991.photobucket.com/albums/af38/blicero_photo/DSC00443.jpg They closed the road about half hour after that. Small consolation, but at least the upper canyon still looks like this: http://i991.photobucket.com/album...

Just saw it jumped the river at Stevens Gulch and is heading up the canyon. Stay safe RFA.

Sorry, but I've got to write this out somewhere, and this seems as correct a place as I'm going to find for it. I got the call yesterday, but honestly I'd been expecting it for years. Thought maybe I'd find out through a story in the Post about a fatal drunk-driving accident, or a body found in an a...

I'm a member, and I'm generally happy to give money to Trout Unlimited. I support their lobbying of asshole congresspeople, publicizing threats to watersheds, promoting conservation, getting youth involved, etc etc etc. Without evidence to the contrary, I assume they do good work. But WHY IN THE FUC...

I never fished when I was there, but there was a lot of good looking water. I bought some flies from a shop in Aix which were very nicely tied, though purchasing...
