There are two season where I live, duck season and fishing. I live 5 minutes from one of the best steelhead rivers in Ca, but that is duck season.

That doesn't look quite right, it looks more like a birch boletus. Still good eating, but not a King. Could also be a different variety than I am use to. In Ca we don't see any until 2 weeks after the first rains in Oct or Nov.
