m Wait until 48 seconds into this to get true enjoyment of something different. Could use some help for a fishing friend of mine. He is taking his 36' sailboat from Massachusetts to the Bahamas and will pass down the East River (NYC). He is looking for a place to get a mooring or drop an anchor in ...

Big Guy, I'm 2 years a 2 weeks behind you. I appreciate your putting into words where we've been and where we still have to go. I like how fishing has changed for me. I no longer get up at the ass crack of dawn to be the first on the water and get the maximum fishing time. On the other hand I do sti...

On a more serious note, when Sandy hit up here the Red Cross came late to the party, left when another storm came up and spent big $$ on nice hotels for their staff while other grass roots organizations were much more effective and did a lot more with the money they received. For that reason I am he...

Hold the fort everyone. I don't think anyone thinks Harvey and the devastation is a joke and I think we have shown over time that we are often willing to join in the effort to support those in need, but some black humor is often what is needed to help deal with the pain so lets be kind to each other...

There must be a lot of gay men in Texas. I bet Raffa is there sucking drawing penises. God smite. No the reason that the storm hit Texas is because there are not a lot of gay's there. It was a message from god telling us that being homophobic is not according to his wishes. It is the gays that prot...

So Wednesday was more high winds, 15 knots and more than I wanted to do in the kayak. If it were October then I'd have been out there but August... not so much. Thursday AM was again calmer. water.gif Went out, looking for birds or bursting and only saw a bit of each. Enough so I picked up a few mor...

This time of year is not known for good Striper fishing. The water warms up and the fish go off the coast and into deeper water. I had no expectation that this week would be any different. We make an annual trek to the tip of Cape Cod this time of year. It has something to do with a compromise that ...
