History has taught us time and again and again that people can be convinced to separate themselves willingly from their money for the thinnest of reasons by preying on people's desires, beliefs, fears and weaknesses. Flim-flam men, con men, snake-oil salesmen, carpetbaggers, grifters, manager/leade...

Sounds exactly the same as Reagan covertly funneling billions in arms and training to al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Tragic repeat of history if it's true.

Don't like the donation via tax returns. If a candidate can't raise funds he shouldn't be running.
What does fund-raising ability have to do with being a competent legislator? You're looking for political candidates that are good at separating people from their money?

I was taught by the Church not to judge others, be you brother’s keeper (to a point), it’s my responsibility to help those in need as I am able, do good deeds and be humble about it and most importantly that dogs go to heaven. I thought the Catholic church's official stance is dogs don't have souls...

Sweet Jeezus you're talking about politicians and political operatives. Plenty of corruption to go around on both sides. Surely you're not suggesting the gop are pure in their intentions and actions. What makes you think I'm suggesting the gop is without sin? Gee, I don't know. Maybe it was you sug...

UN coalition > Coalition of the willing. BIG difference.
In your mind, is Obama right to be meddling (like gwb) or wrong?

It's politically positive the Americans don't APPEAR to be leading the charge into Libya, given their current standing in the Arab world. It's better to appear to be in a supporting role, standing with the other European and Arab countries that are performing the UN-sanctioned enforcement of the no-...
