After years of working in streams, breathable waders are comfortable but worthless. Cabelas Three Forks waders take around 300 days of abuse. While doing some streamside chemistry a few years ago, I spilled concentrated Phosphoric acid on a pair. Didn't hurt them, just made a white spot on the leg. ...

My preferred method of catch and release involves a 6/0 leaded treble on a 12 wt when the fish are on their redds. Ridiculously effective and bobber-free.
