Re: DIY...Riviera Maya with payment

A guided trip makes a hell of a wedding gift. Drop some hints man...you never know. The Mrs. and I did two half day trips on our honeymoon and had a blast. We were planning on just going for a half day and got an envelope with a note that said "hook some fish for us" and a certificate for another da...

Re: i need some oars

I have carlisles and cataracts on my boat. There are certainly nicer, lighter oars out there, but I really don't have any complaints. Get what you can afford and upgrade later if you see the need.

Good luck with the maiden river float.

Re: i need some oars

If you have em already and you just need a spare, why not just buy one of these?

Anybody cashed in?

Has anyone cashed in on the hackle craze yet? I could use some cash and am thinking of putting some stuff up on EBay.

Anybody know what the going rate is on these things? I'm sure it depends on what the feather is like, but I have seen some saddles going for the price of a nice reel....

Re: 13 year brood, show them to me.

Black chunk of foam, zapagap, orange hackle palmered through. That's it. No need for eyes, wings, legs or any of that bullshit (no offense guys). The fish get downright suicidal when its on. Keep em easy, durable and tie a bunch of them. You do not want to run out mid float. The flies look awesome a...

[report]Cicadas! Step 1: Carve them up. Sand them down. http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff423/Carolina_Fly/Eno004-2.jpg [/report] These for periodics? If so, good on ya for getting fancy. Last time they were round these parts, the fish were downright stupid for a black foam chunk with orange sa...

Re: Road Full of Promise - a TR

Anyone have advice on how to get spunk out from between the keys on a keyboard? I was holding my shit together pretty well until I hit the pic of that gator of a brown. It's rained so much here as of late that I almost forget what a fucking fish looks like and seeing shit like this is certainly not ...

If I was 17 again, I would have needed to buy a new keyboard after watching that.

I can't even express how awesome that was. Pretty ballsy on the part of the girl carving up the bowl too...
