Re: OK I need new boots, chime in

Been really pleased with my Simms Guide Boots, both in felt and studded Aquastealth. The felt ones also are stitched into the soles, something to consider, since I recently was with someone who was going down a steep slippery path in the rain and had a felt sole from a cheap boot come off--a nasty a...

Re: Outdoor Company Sellouts

It was an incredible store in its time, but as we continue to ChinaMart America, always buying based on price and not nec...

Re: What the bombers were trying to get on the plane

Nothing like the pilot coming on the loudspeake...

GS, I've been working with the camera a bit, got some good shots with the dog with a stuffed fish, but you just gave me the idea to pose my parrot with the stuffed toy fish, just trying to get a combover to match his yellow head.

Re: Trout Fishing in America

Funny story about Richard Brautigan--I was at a "reading" he did maybe about 1969 or so in San Diego, Seals and Croft supplying music, he read and read, with a whole pile of papers he was holding and when through with a particular piece, he would throw it away into the air. Incredible stuff he was s...

Re: Anyone Packin'

Seriously, there are several states that you'd be better off not possessing a handgun. Massachusetts--not even in the trunkn New Jersey--n New Yorkn And possibly some others, you should be able to find a book in your library which has the laws in all 50 states. My experience has been in transporting...
