Cantfish, please answer these questions...Do you drive a hybrid? How many solar panels do you have installed on your roof? There weren't any hybrids that I could afford when I bought my car. I wanted one, but they are too expensive right now. I know what you are implying; "hypocrite." Not really. I...

I think the problem is that we "require" too much energy, and that we will ultimately produce enough to meet demand, by whatever means necessary. There's too many fucking humans on this blue ball. That's the problem and I don't know that there's a real solution. Weren't we talking about a deadbeat ...

Fatman, what is your opinion on wind and solar vs fossil fuels in terms of ecological costs? What about in terms of health issues? What about in terms of national economic security? Thanks in advance.

This lady kind of cleared up the Bundy perspective for me. I think she has a great point about using leans and the courts to handle this. I remember that my cousin got behind on her student loans back in the 90's and they sent the FBI to her mothers house to talk to her...pissed me off, but nothing ...

I agree the tar sands look bad. Real bad . However I can show you a six hundred acre former coal processing facility that 20 years ago I would have called a superfund site and never believed it could recover. Today it is a wildlife haven and as a matter of fact the place where I'm doing my musky pr...

I would like to see studies on game bird avoidance. Even if it's true, we need alternative energy sources beyond what we can pump out of the ground and we need to start building them now, not 10 or 20 years from now. http://kec.kansas.gov/wptf/robertrobel.pdf http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Ad...

Cantfish's - Renewables don't replace OPEC. How many oil fired electrical generators are there in the US? Or wind powered cars? You are missing the point; Replace most cars with hybrids and half of your problem is solved. Develop electrics that can go 200-300 miles on a charge and that charge in 15...

We are either going to implement a policy that moves us forward into renewable energy and off of the OPEC teat or we are going to wake up one day and find ourselves out of oil and with few alternatives, relative to how much oil we are using. Let's get the ball rolling now and move forward.

Who said anything about "supreme authority?" We elect officials. They are human and make mistakes, like standing too close to the rail line. Jesus your logic is fucked, Blummers. Bundy didn't want to pay his lease payment and he stirred up shit. That' what this all boils down to. As far as solar and...
Look here knuckle nuts my oil wells are in Texas and in traditional sand beds and do quite well without fracking thank you. I've got nothing to do with Nevada . And for the record I like turtles : m
I have it on good authority that you in fact do not like turtles...
