Grouse shooting trails right from the property...

Duck hunting in the wild rice all around...

Can't drive 5 miles in any direction without crossing a musky water...

Whiskey...

All you can djrink...

Women - well that's another matter...gotdamn Sahara Desert for that kind of stuff up here. Bring yer own if you got one or two...

any idea on price? i saw a cabin on their site for 99 a night and tent sites for 20... but didn't know if the "Ball" was an offseason thing
anyone driving up from the east? or flying in, i'm guessing someone would be driving up from the Cities?

this sounds legit
i've had the northwoods on my mind... its been a year since i've been up

exactly one year ago tomorrow, i got my biggest pike
(a little more north than the "ball" but still... a fish that can eat ducks)
i still need a musky

I'll be driving up from the Cities with imaginary boat in tow - meaning we can throw any low life in the clack imaginary boat for the 3 hour drive if needed. :wink

PM me flight details if you're interested in a ride when we get closer to the date. I should have 2-3 seats open in the car.

I also heard SA might be supplying lines for anyone who shows up to the event. :Roll Eyes

I'm a long shot, but not outta the race...

Flights are crazy cheap from charlotte to mn/stp

If I could catch a ride or split a rental with someone its prolly doable.

Anyone in the same situation? Talk to me

Corporate sponsorship, sweet. :smile

I'll be driving up from the cities and will have an empty seat if anyone needs a ride.

Ugh I can't afford $800 plus the $200 in whiskey and shotgun shells I'd be sure to burn through.

This looks good... I'd love to pop the bake cherry with this one.

I'll have to start the negotiations on the home front.... and by negotiations I mean munchin rug and kiss'n ass... I suck at both of those two things so it's a maybe.
$75 spent on gas is a paltry price to pay for clearing the mechanism, although that amount of cash in Flint will buy 35 blowjobs and a carwash.

uuuuummm.....Fuck and yes. I've never been to Minneapolis in my life. But as luck would rarely have it, I have an edjumacation seminar up there oct 28 and 29. Looks like I'll be trying to make this thing, for one day at least. I'll probably still be hung over from drinking 3 days straight in a flop house on Atlantic Beach the week before. And it will be cool, because if my albacore history repeats itself this year, I'll be going from 10,000 casts and no fish, to the fish of 10,000 casts.
Look for me by the campfire. I'll be the guy in the Gorton's fishsticks outfit, mumbling obscenities to himself, roasting marshmellows with his broken 10wt...

Ill bring the decoys and do the calling...Mallards + Grouse. Ebony meets Ivory. Now those are some grill-mates I would love SUK lovers to get to know. AA, remarkable idea.
