After a hard days work


A dog from my past - still very missed

So, two weeks back the wife calls me on her cell to tell me to come out front to help unload the groceries,
well, this what I got for an early Fathers Day gift.... She figured he would be a good fishing companion for me and to help me through this trying time of mine.

By the size of that snout it looks like he will be a big one!

His daddy weighed 55 lbs.

I am guessing that is big for a Springer?

My wife says he is a field Springer not show.

I did not know there was a difference.

Sadly, I am now contemplating when to put Cass down. Leukemia is back. Coming home to a house with dog shit piled about is making it hard to keep her going.

Had one growing up who's ma was a champion hunter, ours only weighed about 40#.
