Any of you who have been there, know: words can't put the pain into perspective. So I'll just leave you to these few photos.

April and I are off to Panama in the morning—this house is just too quiet without him in it...

Trask and I skiing Mt. Glory, on Teton Pass, circa 1998:

Just another shot I liked. There'll be more. And a story. But for now, I'm out. Thanks guys, for your thoughts.

I sorry to hear that, looked like a great dog. As you know words can't do justice.

Remember the good times, it looks like he had a good run.
That was one of the finest examples of spiritual guidance I've ever had the good fortune to witness.

Dog Bless Trask. God Damn. Dog speed, old boy.

My 15yr old made it through cancer surgery today. These old dogs make us hurt sometimes.

Sorry for the loss Tom! Trask traveled many a good trails, rivers, mountains, and roads. Shared plenty of good hatches and many fish! I'm sure he made you a better person the entire time he spent with you!

Thanks, guys. He did want me to say that he will continue to answer "Ask Trask" questions from the afterlife. That was his only wish, so it was an easy one to grant. Here's a few more shots:

There is no connection like that of a man and his dog. While I never met Trask I feel as if I knew him from his witty Traskisms. He will be missed.

Here's to pets past. :cool
