I just got back from eastern Missouri and it's plague of cicada's. Holy dog shit, the place smells like rotten flesh from all the bugs dying everywhere. Louder than fuck too.

Was vacationing in Bluffton/Hilton Head area a few weeks ago, they were there...not overly loud, but definitely mad their presence known....

Ahh, the gentle buzz of cicadas. It sounds like... fucking hot.
