Yes my friends Big Star...unknown by many but definitely worth a listen. The lead singer (who passed this year I believe) inspired a song by one of my earliest favorites.

Just listen to an interview on Q with Noel about his new record out today.

I always enjoyed the orgy of self indulgence that is Oasis “the greatest band in the world” I vowed in the 90s that I would never buy an Oasis record and have held to that. Same can be said for solo projects but it is fun to watch the slow moving train wreck.

The fist single sounds very Oasis and the interview was very funny.

I think what I like best about the Gallagher brothers is they probably don’t even own their own bank account or if they do never pour over the monthly statements also you don’t see them trying to save some banana republic or baby seals.

Anyway enough about me. Hay its Tuesday.
