RFA wrote:If some of you select(not strangers) Drakians would like one, I can put you in touch with him. He will make any knife(within reason) with your selections of materials (Micarta vs. stag vs. etc), straight blade or folder. The guy makes heirloom pieces, and his prices are below reasonable. He has made/refinished about a dozen knives/hatchets for me/gifts, and every one I get is like Christmas all over again.

He mentored under Barminski, if any of you have heard of him.

PM me if interested.

Edit: This is just a good friend of mine. I will make nothing off of this. The guy is an A+ person and knifemaker, and I just like to do what I can to spread the word. He does it as a hobby, not his job, but would like to go full time into knifemaking. All he needs is word-of-mouth advertising.

I put my friend in touch with him, and he has made 4 knives for him in a year and a half....and this dude is not rich by any means. He is stockpiling them. The maker has the talent to be famous, 0% shitting.
My first blade was a Schrade drop point. I would very much like a similar, but different knife for all three of my girls...

[report]I'm actually pretty embarrass but I admit I have this sick addiction to blades. I like em all and I have no favorite brand.

A few pocket knives I've been carrying in the rotation the past few months

Cold Steel Mini Recon 1
Buttery smooth manual deployment.

Without a doubt one of the more solid locking sytem for a folder in my collection. Turns the knife to a virtual fixed blade.

A favorite EDC 2 months straight now....

Kershaw Knockout

Dig the SpeedSafe operation with either the flipper or thumb stud. Broad blade is awesome around camp.

I don't know why I got this but I did. I'm not even a tanto fan but I thought I'd give this a try.
Image

CRKT Heiho
Image

Very strong assisted deployment
Image

Another highly recommended affordable edc.....
Kershaw Cryo
SpeedSafe, g10 scale, stone washed blade
Image

Image

A couple of small auto from Boker

Mini Kalasnikov, just fun little pocket knives
Image

Image

Plain Jane pocket folder, lock-back design from Boker. It's slim, clean, simple, tight fit and finish. I like.

Next to one my very favorite practical edc, the Spyderco Sage

Many more I'm sure I've yet to show from my collection.
