I've been enjoying the Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 year. Holiday present from the wife. Been savoring it as you can tell.

This thread needs new life.

Don't normally go for this light and fruity stuff, but this was a great deal ($29) that I couldn't pass up, and it's pretty good. Besides, it's summer. Big whiskies are for winter.

last weekend we had the mac' amber (last bottle) and I found a new love for oban14.
perhaps it was because it was someone else's.

we're right in the heart of whisky season. good times.
I'm happy rampant went back to tas.
I don't think I'd last another winter.

I could use a 'livet15. right fucking now.

new [to me], and quite interesting, a 'fiddy 14

not sure if the double/triple cask palaver adds to the flavours, or disguises an essential shortage of, but this one works well
