[report]this one is a little different for me. I've never really been into chasing trout too much. it's not that I don't like trout. it's just I'm not very good at catching them. theonetrout came over Saturday after I got off work and we were off for 2 days of fishing. the plan for both days could not have been any different. day one trout on a small stream and day 2 muskie on a big river. so we were off.

and we made camp right before dark

next morning was magical.

and these little creatures were worth the price of admition.

and I got to break in my grandfathers old glass rod him bought it just before he passed and it was given to me last year for Christmas from my dad and uncle. I think its the 1st time its ever even been put together

and we found the last species on the walk out

that night we ate like kings in preparation for chucking 1/2 chickens the next day

I got a quick hall pass for Monday morning because the wife and her sister were going to lunch. sister in law's boy friend fly fishes so plans were made. the morning started off kinda slow but we got a random hit here and there. this little guy was the first fish to hand.
