That'll Do- TR

Post by V Wake » Thu Jul 11, 2013 1:15 am

Back-up plans have been the norm here in the south for the last few months due to all the rain we've been getting. This was true for Chidester, Socks, and me yesterday. We had hopes of hitting some musky water but due to high water settled on throwing streamers on the SoHo. The results were favorable and helped us to temporarily forget about log jams, figure 8's, and toothy fish. The day started off on the right foot as Socks immediately hooked a stout mid-20's bow. She came unbuttoned after a minute or two, but the action was hot all day.

Very nice!
I usually drop em in the grass and then fish out another cast or two while I wait for them to get tired enough to hold still - that way you can actually tell how long they are against the rod. - JT

[report]After returning from vacation and being greeted with nothing but chocolate milk rivers, and docks that have been jammed into themselves there was only one option. Which turned out to be a good day, and with my lack of content lately this is what I have to share.

An early morning and a long drive led me and chid to find v-wake in his appropriate parking spot

That saturated me more than the fish. Nice.
