Sitting here watching the ABC special on Madoff. Brought back this memory. Pretty sure it was the only time that Forbes magazine got scooped by The Drake message board:

A lot of you probably weren't even on the board back then. Can't believe it was seven years ago already. Regardless of your thoughts on Bernie Madoff, it was a very sad end for both of the brothers. They were, if nothing else, flyfishermen, whose lives ended before they should have.

We all get stuff from our father's, good and bad, and spend the rest of our lives sifting through it, whether we know it or not. And dogs only know what we pass to our kids, intentionally and not.

I can't imagine their situation- having life handed to you, then realizing it was all fraud at others' expense.

Great call! Reading back through this reminds me of every pain that makes a multi day float. Never done one this big though. So much respect.
