There is a lot of debate within the scientific world regarding weather humans are " the top apex predator". You should read up a little before making such a bold statement. I certainly don't believe "there is only one apex predator". Science doesn't agree with you either......Now if you had said "humans are the most successful apex predator", you would have been correct.
Wildlife management is a necessary evil. Unfortunately, we as humans have fucked up the balance to the point where there is no going back.
A quick question for you Jdub.....Why do you support the need to manage the permit population by limiting the number of permit humans are allowed to harvest? What are your specific concerns regarding humans harvesting permit for consumption?
