A picture show over time with a love affair I am having with this SouthBend bent tip grass rod that was passed on to me by Bruiser. It needed to be fished he said. And so it was and will be. The model number indicates it was built in the early 60's and its 7 plus feet long, should be 7'6" but the tip has been broken at least twice now so it went from a 5/6 to a solid 6wt. the tip has a set in it going to the left then curving to the right . Twisted. Its got a few quirks but what the hell. lets fish. Like the decal says, SouthBend "a name famous in fishing".

You have no idea the irony of the broken tip on that rod, given to you by Bruiser.

Maybe someday I'll tell the story here but it's too soon as they say these days.

Way too soon.

Lates: mind the ceiling fan with your new fishing poles fellas.
