You're right.

Now that I look at it closely, it's as though the viewer is underwater watching a dead trout floating belly-up near the surface.

I would call that one "mustard turd".

But it's cool. That's how art is.

I like the snowstorm fence too.
I really do.
There is something Cold and lonely and cool about it.

I don't know about the skidmark painting but this has to be a top TR of the year nominee.

Being the first of February, think of the possibilities.

I did a Google search using the terms "Shack Nasties."

Not what you might think.

So if you were to take that painting to the Antiques Roadshow and the appraiser were to ask, "Does this painting have a name?" You'd come back with, "Yes sir. It's called must turd turd."

Do I have that right?

And by the way, out here we pronounce it "mustard."

Very close Joe but it would be closer to something like this : [in a deep Colonel Sanders voice] "Yaus saw . Hit is cawwwld mus terd turd"
And if you aren't sure about how Colonel Sanders tawlks you can substitute Foghorn Leghorn.

Shoiwn made me laff.

A rising fish.

You chose a very difficult subject to render, Dwayne... few do it well, and yours is better than most.

I especially like the treatment of the water. There's a lot of movement and luminosity.

Lisa and I still enjoy your painting of the fence in the snow... you hit that one out of the park.

We're honored to have it in our home.
