you were 3 1/2 minutes late on that last picture.

Excellent write up, Joe. I don't remember ironman was walking around the cabin in his sleeping bag, either...

Nobody left their suitcase open in the rain.

And Mediocre Jose was as well dressed as you upon arrival.

This trip was hatched based on WB25 giving The Green Hornet a new home, and me with a serious want to fish The Mitt. Specifically, the Aww-Sabble. Dnymph and Porno Mike's Brother are among the most fun guys to float with, so they were an immediate call at the onset. (Steelhound and sidekick would attest). Another key component fell into place when DayTripper donated a 2 day trip to the SpawnyFranny. And Average Joe was a winning and willing to travel dood. Fancy duds all all, because you get better service looking like him, than me. (His words) Apparently, there are standards and rules. #bandito-orsomeshit

I can follow directions, but support is support, and I did simple math, and covered a $10 spot so things were all fair like - you're welcome.

Sakonnet arrived early Wed, and we headed out. The trip was 2 hours longer because he didn't have a passport. Thanks, Fukko.

Somewhere in Ohio, we received this text message from WB25, which I believe set the tone for my mindset.

Upstream from the cabin. Lime.

Last time hitched up with me before I backed her in. Funny how attached we become to things. She was washed and waxed prior to sale. I think she was excited to be home. I was happy to be with her on another first, but couldn't be more pleased with her new home.

Joe brought awesome gifts with impressive packaging.

And yes, it was a challenge. And totally great.

A guide on my home water ties these. He gave me guff for not fishing them, so I did.

A big pike bit me off. Would have been my first toothy critter. Swam under the oar, must have caught a tooth, and....

I wanted that fish, and it haunts me.
Salty likes decks.

And Alex gets more out of a Sube, than anyone I know. It's called winning at life. Spend some time with him. You'll understand.

For Sakkonet. This was a kind gesture before we scared the hell out of him.
Image
This was not a kind gesture.

So right after this pic was taken, I looked at Lebowski and said, we should speed up, slam on the brakes, and scream. To his credit, he said that's mean. I said, it'll be funny. So we did, and it was funny. Wish there was video.

Must have been a moose.

Looks like fine times, fellas.

Gotta love the "Blackout, Wake up, Blackout" photojournal...if it was anything like an AK Triathlon (eating, drinking, fishing...random order), I'm sure at some point it was accompanied by full-on, pants-pissing, so-hard-y'all-were-crying laughter.

Bonus.

The fucking Drake. Righteous :cool
