Looks like you folks had a great time. Would like to see everyone and meet the Rustbelters and Heero too, but alas.
That sounds awesome in my ears!! (P-A)

we were basking in goodness here with our everyday drivel that we enjoy.... the rest of this is horseshit, flybug.pa.

If I was still employed this TR would have been finished by now.

Before I retired, my commute and a day at the office were the only two fingers I needed to induce a vomit of words out onto the keyboard.

Those prompts are gone.

Anyway.

Before I flew into SLC, Lando warned me that I'd be sharing a flight into Cody with Hagen.

It wasn't hard to find him.

I ordered a beer.

In the half hour it took me to consume this beer, Hagen drank 2 beers and 2 gin and tonics.

When I left him he said, "I'm right behind you."

Then he turned to the bartender and said, "Give me another beer."

He later told me that he had two more beers after that.

Hagen was the last passenger to board the plane.

When we arrived in Cody, no one was there to greet us.

A couple of women were waiting on the curb as well.

Hagen bummed a smoke from one of them and asked, "So where are you from?"

"Adelaide," she replied.

"Where the fuck is that?"

"Australia."

"What are you doing here?"

"We're going to a Dude Ranch."

"A Dude Ranch? What are you gong to do at a Dude Ranch?"

"With any luck I hope to ride a cowboy."

"Well shit darlin', I've got a hat and some chaps in my luggage."

Right about then Lando and Heero showed up.

Lando handed us both a beer while Heero took care of our luggage.

Once everything was secured, we piled into Heero's vehicle and made our way back to the campsite.

When we arrived at camp, I changed into my luau attire and then started drinking whiskey.

Everyone else was quite tired, because In a matter of minutes I found myself along beside the campfire.

As I've aged I've found that there are few places I'd rather be.

When we got to the restaurant, we ran into Tammy.

She saw Lando and yelled, "Where's the trophy husband?"

Hagen came up behind her and yelled, "Right here, darlin'!"

"Not you! Where's the fella with the funny lookin' hat?"

After that we stopped by a gas station, where I ran into Ken. He called me over and said, "You're wearing that hat wrong."

"How am I supposed to be wearing it?"

"Give it here and I'll show you."

Eventually we left the comfort of the riverbank and started floating.

I've no idea what Sakonnet planned to fish for in this particular locale.

About all I can conclude is that he was matching Hagen drink for drink.

At the end of the float, Big Timber, Lando and I drove back to the put in.

Lando noticed a rock that was looking at him kinda funny, so he took action.

Dam.
Hero looks exactly like I imagined him.

I think the "BM" on this mound actually stands for "bowel movement"; one of Franzen's, if I'm not mistaken...
