There is a small river (creek) in the ozarks that is heavily trafficked but rarely fished that a buddy and I love. There is never anything big, but occasionally you'll see that 4-5 pounder slide up behind something and follow all the way to the boat.

If we fish it after a rain.. be sure to pack the chainsaw because there is ALWAYS stuff that you'll have to portage around or over.
I love this small, warm water stuff.
