My Dad is 78 this year. Has a had a great life, no signs its ending anytime soon. Did well enough to buy a condo in MT about 10 yrs ago. He taught me to fish by bringing me to creeks in NJ when I was 10 or 11 and giving me a rod and 3 or 4 flies sent me on my way down stream. Didn't see him for another 4 or so hours. I Never caught a thing those first few trips but i have never stopped fishing. He ruined me in way. Those first trips taught me to love the solitude of the stream. My son never took to it like I did and I never pushed him to fish, thats on me, maybe my daughter will be the angler. My dad fishes a ton, as he should, on the Galltatin and Madison, he sends me pics of fish all the time. I love it. We talk every day,may 3 minutes maybe 30. just depends. Of all the hero shots we take of each others fish I took these two last summer. Found them this morning and made me happy. He's old and cantankerous and the best.

Dude.

You live some sort of charmed life that deserves a hail and hearty "FUCK YOU" from those of us who don't.

With all do respect of course.

Missed Friday doing this. Well mostly swatting black flies and watching boats float by with a little of this mixed in.

Don't be fooled, that fish is five consecutive trips in the making... and I drowned an Iphone AND a camera/lens. Very, very expensive trip for me this year.

Obviously you deserve further subsidy.
