A long long slow walk in the spartina gives you time to think big thoughts and put your mind back into order.

Fixed

Ha!

Congrats on being a dad Jerms! Great experience one I know you will enjoy.

Teach the kid how to pole a boat. By the time they are able to, you wont want to any more.

Tied up a new crawfish pattern for Smallmouths and carp and found it also worked well on the trout

No thanks I have to follow Willi

I have an interesting piece of water super close to my home that I am having a hard time dialing in. There is a man made resivior and we have a damn right by us. The river starts about 20 miles upstream at a reservoir and has a good trout salmon ans steelhead fishing. However when the water gets to me its a slow moving current frog water but has spotted bass I believe LMB and Trout (willing to eat my indicator last time out). Been out twice for a big blank. Hoping to dial it in for the future little guy rolling in. I can almost throw a rock and hit it. Anyone have insight on waters like this I am all ears.

The skiff floats and is crazy stable.

Willie likes it as well:

Also I am going to use these this weekend, what 5 weight should I tie them on???

Lucky you got the single nut kind. I had one that used 4 or 5 little Phillips head screws. P.O.S. it was.

[report]I'm jumping in early as I may not have time on Friday.
My 10 YO daughter has a "functional birdhouse" contest at school this week to replace old ones at the school. It's a family project, she was awesome on the chop saw after the first cut. She wanted a Seuss themed house, picked the color scheme and did most of the painting. I did the detail work. I am exceptionally proud of her and if she doesn't win, it comes back home. Fuck them.
