Took a step back with this one, but it was fun to paint from a Drake pic:

Finally the wind allowed us to do this.

Managed to paddle to this familiar sight.

Even dusted the old spinner, I sucked at it. I think I've gotten too soft fly fishing for small trout.

But just one was more than enough considering I got to see a couple of good long time friends. Fun and bullshit was had by all.

As good as I have it up north, I still miss the south.

If I was driving that cart, I would be trying to find just the right side bumps in the grass.... although unfortunately, the turf looks pretty smooth...

frustrated. After a few "what the fucks?" "i suck"s and a break on shore I convinced her to get back to casting. I clearly remember this question/statement "so you actually think this is fun. These fish are fucked"

A 560 foot dun colored emerger. Two billion of our tax dollars at work. 560 foot Ohio Class nuclear sub in the back yard. 8 of them live just up the crick.
