It's good to have generous friends... like the guy who stops by on his way home to drop off a few woodcock. We've enjoyed dining on them, but my friend's wife is not a fan... and he knows that I love them. Thanks, buddy!

Pumpernickel croutons will soak up flavors from the extra stuffing and bacon fat.
