Found a dude licensed to do both eco-tour and fishing, $200 US/ 4 hrs for all six of us. Hells Yeah!

Meh, my kids have seen porpoise before, vamanos.

He pulls into a back lake and I already see bonefish sliding off the banks, not the little dinks they're known for down there, but actually pretty decent fish. As we're drifting in I see a permit tip up and I bail out of the panga....never found him.
So I worked my way to the edges.

Got a couple of OK fish.

Then I headed over to help my son...he had a few shots but no love.

We saw a pair of Eagle's del Piscado

Then the kids got to snorkle the reef while I waded the "playa de no piscado". Water was awesome, but tide was falling out. Found two schools of baby bones. Didn't even make a cast.

Wrapped up our day, and back to the cabana.

Thank you sir. Very nice.
Let your boat of life be light, packed with only what you need-a homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone to love you, a cat, a dog and a pipe or two, enough to eat and enough to wear, and a little more than enough to drink; for thirst is a dangerous thing.

Drive was much shorter on dry(er) road only 2 hours.

We did stop and collect a ton of dead coral, which we left the majority of as to not get hassled at the airport.

Appreciate the effort Tex. It was a bitch just signing in to comment!

Looks like a great family trip and I can applaud your Daddy dedication to take the whole clan and show them some of this world.

Throw in a couple of Bonefish and even better.

:cool

mighty fine show, TX. I honestly wasn't expecting a fish pic or two. Glad you were able to get it in.

I will do Mexico one day...the miss is too scared which means more fishing for me
