I try to get into Jellystone once a month, more when the fishing is good. Went down again for 3 days this past weekend.

Here is camp pre thundershowers with hail.

Saw fresh tracks on the Slop Crick hike in. Turned out Yogi was a ways out in the meadow, too far for a pic. He’d been there an hour or so earlier.

Couple week old woof tracks abound. They live there with Yogi. I know they are less than a couple weeks as they weren’t there last time I was up 2 weeks ago.

This forest chicken had a few poults stashed nearby.

I’ll be down again in two weeks. I might fish the chub pond, but if not then this was the last Jellystone fishings I’ll do this year. The chickening starts in a couple weeks.

I remember seeing one of those really pretty Yellowstone Cutts come majestically up through 4 feet of water on the big L just to eat my bobber.

Good luck with your chickening.

Let’s fish the pond in two weeks.

Other than your forearm, I liked all of it.

I love that place. Jealous you live so close to it these days.
