I have a Patagonia Nine Trails. I love it, think mine is a 20 liter, they make them as small as 14 liter and maybe up to 28 liter.

My inquiry was ambigous. Mea culpa.

What I'm looking for is a five, six, or seven piece fly rod/ reel combo that easily fits in a backpack. Cabela's used to have the Stowaway, but it seems they've moved on to other products.

What Heeeeero said. That and a light weight reel.

I made a lightweight rod tube out of a plastic shipping tube. That'll save you a few ounces.

No need for a dedicated pack rod. My trusty Sage XP 4-piece has been on hundreds of hikes/backpacking trips over the years. I never bring the case, I just put it in the cloth cover and lash it to the side of my pack. Never had an issue doing this over the past 20+ years....

Osprey Atmos 50.
Can't give you advice on a pune rod, because quite frankly they are all shit. They end up breaking like the twigs they are.

But iffn you can find an Orvis Helios 2 7ft 4wt, pair it with any dinker reel and 5wt line, you have yourself a mean lil buggy whip that will tame the punes, just like the pied piper of Hamelin.
