September to October '18 I had a big fall. There was a bachelor float. Vows. Yard party. Honeymoon. All good things that are now sinking in and starting to glow in memory

The salty fish were fun as all hell. I'd just started hauling but with little accuracy. Mr. Godfrey was solid and put us near opportunity. We did all we could to keep him laughing. Back in the creek, I hooked and jumped my first tarpon . I squated at the hips instead of dipping the rod tip when he jumped and that was it.
There are fish that require drag and can't be hand fought. It's good to know that's possible. Fret not, I hossed the wee permit in by hand
