Goin' back to Houston, do the hot dog dance. Goin' back to Houston, to get me some pants.

The sheepshead fish has human teeth, but it's OK because it won't give you a psychedelic crisis.

[report]I have a habit of finding a song I like and putting it on repeat for about a week.

Here is the current track.

There are some gems in the lyrics:

When I need her loving
I say "Girl, your love is something
Won't you come bring your love 'round my way"
Said her figure's godly
Girl I really want your body
I can hardly find the words to explain

When I need that collie
I just give my man a call
He's always on his job on 3rd St. & Bay
No, he never claimed to be wise
But he tries to abide
What the wise men say

Bitter is the heart where the love lay fallow
Never bear a fruit with a root so shallow
Never sow a seed
What a shame indeed
Not me, grew my shoot into the sky
I got the kaya get you so high

When I need her near me
I say "Girl, I love you dearly
See your eyes light the fire in my heart"
Let the fire light
And oh, my soul, when it ignites
The flames will rise to the sky
Ring the alarm
Ring the alarm

When I need that collie
I just give my man a call
He always push, yea he push 'round the way
No he never claimed to be wise
But he's quick to recite
What the wise men say

Under wing mother keep the young bird, callow
Sheltered in the trees and the sweet rose mallow
Some of them will fledge
Reckon flight's a dread
Not me, no you'll find me in the sky
I got the kaya get you so high

When I need her loving
I say "Girl, your love is something"
She say "Boy, you know I got you locked down"
Ain't a girl 'gon stop me
When I want them drawers to drop
See, I say "Look here, drawers, you drop now!"

When I need that collie
I just give my man a call
He's always on his job on 3rd St. & Bay
No, he never claimed to be wise
But he tries to abide
What the wise men say

Bitter is the heart where the love lay fallow
Never bear a fruit with a root so shallow
Never sow a seed
What a shame indeed
Not me, grew my shoot into the sky
I got the kaya get you so high

When I need that collie
I just give my man a call
He always push, yea he push 'round the way
No he never claimed to be wise
But he's quick to recite
What the wise men say

This winter has been enjoyable. Lots of fun with friends and family.

It snowed a fuck ton a while back.

Image

I don't take many photos when it's snowing at the hill. Too busy skiing.

I realized I hadn't caught a trout in a while so I remedied that.
Fly tied by WB25 for the small floaty swap.

The boy is stepping up his game. He'll be 3 in about a month.

Image

Skiing is a family tradition for us, like fishing is for a lot of you.
My dad has been joining us on the hill. He just turned 70 and he skis 150 days a year.

Image

It stopped snowing. We kept skiing.

Image

Image

We watch a lot of tarpon during down time.

Image

The sun came out.

Image

Image

I took a quick break and went to see Larry in Florida.

Image

Rocky mountains in the morning, followed by airplane, train, truck, and boat, culminating in redfish in the afternoon.

Image

Had a memorable few days of fishing a new estuary. Once again, I was fortunate to have someone show me around their backyard.

Image

The fish in the lagoon were not easy to catch.
Redfish ain't dumb, y'all.

There were also lots of large trout that we did not catch.
We even saw a small tarpon, which they say is rare.
Didn't catch it.

Image

Did some Florida-type stuff.

Image

Image

Hung out with some locals who know a lot more about boats than I do.

Image

They let me sit in on a radio show about underwater basket weaving.

Image

I lost two feet of snow in my yard in the 4 days I was gone. It's weird to see my driveway in February.
The snow on the hill has been holding up though, and it's been a ghost town up there.

We've been throwing down in C Lot every Thursday.

Image

Image

Image

It can be a nightmare trying to ski with a large group, but we've got a good crew this year and everyone is keeping it together.

Image

Still 3 more months of winter yet.
I wonder what we'll get into.[/report]

There is a device called an edgie wedgie, which keeps his ski tips together. Next step is learning to pizza without it.

Lee is due to make an appearance in June.

That is one hell of a parking lot spread! I was pretty proud of myself busting out a hibachi on the tailgate today.

Edgie wedgies are the shit! First day we had them. Little E did the magic carpet ride 3 times. Guess next year one of us is going to have to learn how to ski.

Thanks for the stoke as always.
