For the sauce, bacon, and enough garlic to kill a horse.

Mixed that in with sour cream. And horseradish. Yoga pants doesn't like horseradish so her's got extra black pepper and sriracha.

Proper dough.

Topped it with the shredded remains of last weekend's jalapeno and apple braised venison shoulder. Topped that with mozzarella and asiago.

Turned out.

mitch: I need a favour, mate.

skully: what's that?

mitch: I want you to order three pizzas and one hundred wings and I'm going to pay for it.

skully: what do you want?

mitch: I want a pepperoni pizza.

skully: okay. but one thing you must know... there's no pig in my house.

mitch: if you say so, mate. I didn't see one...

skully: no, mate. we don't eat pork. no pig in the house.

mitch: I don't understand.

skully: there's pig in pepperoni...

mitch: and?

skully: I won't eat it.

mitch: we'll start again. I want a pepperoni pizza and one hundred wings. what do you want?

skully: what do you mean?

mitch: order yourself a pizza. fuck those guys. looking at them they'll probably order a pigmeat feastfest so you order whatever your heart desires... my treat, mate.

skully: I'll just have cheese.

mitch: adventurous. we'll see if we can keep you out of baskin robbins, hey.
The last time you visited, I made you pepperoni pizza, wings, and onion soup, based more or less on what I read in this post.

I can't explain the onion soup, but I do occasionally have trouble understanding you.

Anyway.

You ate none of it that night, and chose instead to smoke your dinner.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I heard Joe made a pizza the other night..........and some douchebag a fine young man from this place wouldn't couldn't even eat a bite.
He couldn't drink my beer either. Allergies can be terrible things. Fortunately I had some guac and pico on hand.

As for pizzas, I keep waiting for Hogleg, MT Grayling, and the powder monkey to contribute something to this thread. Neither of them have any excuse not to.

I think the "BM" on this mound actually stands for "bowel movement"; one of Franzen's, if I'm not mistaken...

So the wife and kids got me an early Fathers day gift of a used grill.
Has a gas side and a wood side, wood side is being converted into a pizza oven.
I bought a stone and recently acquired a piece of steel plate to use as a radiant top.
