I think it was "In the Ring of the Rise" (V.Marinaro) where I read about this optical phenomenon, otherwise I'd have likely tossed the shot.
The wing does't matter because the fish won't see it… Really? Maybe sometimes,maybe even usually it might not matter. But to the one fish who's "been there done that" on that flat water perhaps it does matter.
