kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

And those hoppers? Shit.
They should both be commercially sold.
Looks like real is the new fake.
[report]Thanks Aguirre. Yeah, it's suppose to be a hopper, an effective one, so there.

2tonehopper, not realistic by any stretch but impressionistic enough, a closer look.

The 1tonehopper works just as well though.

I change the top and I got me a simple stoner.

Medallion sheet, lightly bushed with CCG and voila!

See, nothing much to it really. Anyway, thanks fellas.

I would do unforgivable things to get one of these on the end of my line.

I could try to tie them but they would look like shit.

Does that include postage? Apparently that shit's expensive. I have email proof.
yes. in fact, they're already in the states.
they also come with a coa (so nobody else gets the blame).

asshead inc.: who the fuck would pay $400 for that? and it's not even mounted!
mitch: fuck knows... I only got $308.

i'm not a fan of realistics for fishing, the fuckers never float right. that said those are some great looking flies and realistic enough without being totally useless for actual fishing. way to actually see what is going on and reproduce it. that right there is what trout fly tying is all about.

Thanks man. I'm just doing it for fun, since the closest trout are about 200 miles away. I will probably make up a hellgrammite for the local smallies too. I'd like to trick one of them into eating this time of year....
