G, Check Chad Johnson's White River Deceiver on the youtubes. He makes a triangular shape with the lead strips.

Lead came, used in stained glass, comes in a variety of shapes/sizes that can be useful for weighting flies.

Thanks. Good question...haven't had a chance to bathtub test it or fish it yet, but it closely approximates a 60 degree jig hook and the eyes are pretty heavy, so I'm thinking it'll be OK...we'll see.
