fishy or not....opinions wanted

kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

Hell yeah! Put anything of mass on a sinking line and a trout will eat it!

I used to be really discouraged about my "tying flies ability" but I kept seeing AT offer this up as a mantra- and it's true and it helps me sleep at night. If my fly doesn't resemble anything i just get out the sharpie and color it to look like a cigarette butt. I also take wooden dowels and cut a slot out of them and zapagap them to a hook. Paint lime cigarette butt and walk the dog with it- lime any stick bait. Deadly on trout.

If that doesn't fish well color it brown lime a cigar butt.

Does this fish as well as a french fry fly?

Say that three times fast.

Well you know, it's something different. Also- for the sake of accuracy- I don't actually tie these. I design them and then have them made. Which is nice.

cheap but slow labor rates?

$75 spent on gas is a paltry price to pay for clearing the mechanism, although that amount of cash in Flint will buy 35 blowjobs and a carwash.
