EP streamer vid

kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

EP streamer vid

Post by Goldmember » Thu Oct 04, 2012 2:45 pm

I had some people around here how asking how I tie my EP flies so a buddy of mine decided to film it. Hope it's a good contribution and will give you all some inspiration.

Spot on.

If I may ask, what's the second tune? Sounds like Kraftwerk and New Order's barstard love-child, but I like it.

These are the songs we used
"Line of Flight" by Revolution Void and
"Turning around" by Happy Elf

I dig it. I trim my ep's the same way. Have you ever tried this stuff for the eyes? It is the shit, it holds the ep well so you do not have to burn out sockets to get the eyes to stay on.

thanks for the tip. I haven't tried it, I use either 1 minute eopxy or zap a gap gel. I'll have to look into that glue and see if I can find it somewhere. thanks

What kind of fish do you use them for in Denmark?

I Denmark I use them on seatrout, in other places for seabass :)
But for which species is all up to you. With this method I tie small streamers for perch and asp, I tie these on Gamakatsu SC15 hooks for tarpon and snook and I tie 10-15 inch streamers for pike all in the same way as on the vid.
It works in every way and you can make them as bulky or as sparse as you'd like.
