The key to face rubbing is to pay that much for somewhere that your chances or river conditions arent all that great in lieu of doing so for somewhere the fishing is off-the-charts good.

For instance, the Helmsdale in July or August (or any of those north Highland Rivers, really). Why spend all that money on a trip fishing low water for grilse in north Scotland when you couldve instead spent it on a trip to the pristine waters of the Kola Peninsula? Because you can, thats why.
