Heero's Great Muddler Swap - Year of The Muddler

kind of self-explanatory, right? We seem to have some impressive thread-wrappers that lurk around this board. let's try to keep your "first booger" posts at a minimum.

My point was - a tarp is just about as big as a tent and a lot more tricky to rig - especially if you're using rod tubes. You guys weren't camping in the desert. Maybe you don't own any tents. I am obviously a dumbass - but I would have slept a lot better and fished with better gusto had I slept in a tent. Your mileage may vary.

I'll go back under my rock.
flying with a tent ain't easy... esp if you only want to check 1 bag
honestly the tarp was more for a place to hang out under in the rain

imo - rental SUV for $300... no need to drop another $300-400 on a room

I'm still getting a mat to roll out in front of my tarp/tent.

You'll need to check two bags in that case.

Alright, since I am now officially past due I will mail my shit.

I got a little razor happy after getting the double sided blades and made a whole slew of different shaped heads. I kept telling myself I was going to choose one and make a dozen exactly the same...but the weather is getting warmer, the fish are running, and I know it ain't gonna happen.

Apologies for the variety pack. I made up for it with a small gift for everyone.

Back from the dead to tie up loose ends, mine should beat heero's to your door.
His fly ties will be far superior in awesomeness though.
