In an effort to revive a dying thing, i am proposing a classic atlantic salmonfly swap.
Ideally looking for 6 players. Each person ties 7 flies, one to be auctioned off at a later date. I will need help on the auction end of things, so all support/suggestions is asked for and welcomed.

3 Glista
4 CharlieJenkem
5 wovenstonefly
6 Rampant
Hard rules : NO hairwings
NO gold hooks, they are very ghey
NO spey flies, they rock but are not salmonflies
* more on hooks : preferably these will be tied on decent blind eye hooks but lets not limit it to only blind eyes. I own some amazing specimens tied on cheap, down eyed, bronze Mustads and they look smashingly good. Larger hooks are probably the best choice, but again, i own some beautiful flies tied on 1/0 and smaller. So lets keep it loose as far as hook size goes. If you're tying on blind eye hooks, please use authentic silkworm gut. NO gut subs. If anyone needs help w materials, just ask.
Wings: lets limit this to married, mixed, built, or full feather. Please, no squirrel tail wings.
Subs: subs are fine, i'm a peasant. If you choose to use subs, please do so tastefully. CDC on a Jock Scott will always look like shit, so don't do it. I have a source for amazing subs, so again, ask.
Freestyle: i wouldn't want to infringe on anyone's creativity, so i won't. That being said, let's cap the freestyles at one per tyer. Please try following established patterns to the best of your ability. I'm not concerned w posting recipes but be sure to post the hook you've chosen, it's size, maker etc.
Auction flies : this is the time to bust out the Reinholds and Sundays. Dig into your stash of crow, quetzal and Tinga here. If you need the good shit and don't have it, contact Edwin Rist. He has gone to great lengths to procure these things for us. Make your auction fly your best.
Flies due to me AUGUST 1, 2019.
We can discuss auction flies, shipping methods etc as this thread moves along. Lets make this fun and revive something this board needs. Cheers fuckos
