the end of our united

When you see what Martinez is doing with Everton I think it validates the question of if Moyes was the right choice, time will tell, that is if he is given any.

Yep I agree, SAF didnt exactly leave him with too much to work with - his summer transfer signings will make or break him. He needs to figure out what system he wants to play to get the best out of RVP, Rooney and Mata plus rebuild his back line. That is if RVP can stay fit.

i predicted chelsea to win, and united to finish 2nd. blahhh. i love how liverpool are doing well and everyone loves them again, give them some continental matches mid week and watch how thin their squad really is.
that will be united next year. able to put more stock into their league matches w/o traveling to some godforsaken soviet bloc city on a thursday night..

Yep Europa Cup is a killer for any team competing near the top of the Premier League. I'm rather hopeful Spurs slip to 7th and let Utd take the last Europa Cup place.

its a great thing for teams such as swansea, everton, etc. get some money... no title aspirations, but some cash in hand...
tough for top 6 teams.

what happened to the yids and their bale money? i dont think they should have sacked AVB so quickly..

It's hard to understand what went on, clearly a disconnect between AVB, Baldini and Levy ...wouldn't be surprised to see Baldini gone soon either. Rumors of players bought that AVB didn't want, clearly the bust up with Ade the highest paid player on the team didn't help AVB's cause. Which of course was further compounded once he was recalled by Sherwood and started scoring.

Bringing in 7 new players with no PL experience was always a huge gamble ...all of them show glimpses of ability, but the change of manager, inconsistent line up from one week to the next I'm not sure how they are supposed to settle and develop an understanding let alone an instinctive chemistry as a team. Big fear now is another summer with major turn over of players, LLoris, Vertonghen both expected to leave. Factor in the need for a LB, plus replacements for Dawson, Naughton and maybe Kaboul and a replacement for Defoe, cause Kane isn't going to cut it.....and you can see another 5 to 7 changes taking place.
