Does anyone here actually work for the government

Post by eponymous » Fri Jun 19, 2009 1:01 am

local, state or federal? It doesn't matter.

I'm interested to know how efficiently you think it is run. Is what everyone does necessary and if so are there not enough, just enough or too many people providing that service?

I wish I did. I can tell you one thing. My mail man has the best tan, a smile on his face and will never get an ulcer from stress.

I worked 14 years for the Dept of Mental Health, the last five in a Behavioral Treatment Unit(Wheee!). Then two years for the unemployment agency, and the rest has been as a welfare case manager in Flint. The Public Tit has been good to me.

When you say worked do you really mean a customer of?
If said posting of nude women includes her holding fish AND a large set of antlers (Non-photoshopped), then it can stay. Otherwise, No nudity on the Drake board. Skimpy? OK. Side-boob? Approved. -nemo

That would have been sweet... those people received some fine drugs before the pharmaceutical companies refined the fun right out of psychotropic medication. No, I was on the talk 'em down or tie 'em up end of the business. We had to settle for beer & a bomber after our shift.
