Do you have a better system than capitalism ? Greed is every where. Not sure how capitalistic greed is worse than socialistic. There are always going to be those that have and those that have not .There are always going to be douchebags that take advantage of the system.
Not sure where the religion part fits in?

Not so hard to figure out. The greed of corporate preachers, a la, Jim Baker, Joel Osteen, etc. The right wing religious zealots of the US who are just as wacked as the Muslim extremist. Check out The Family. How about Opus Dei? Very well connected religious political organizations with an agenda. Government is supposed to be religion-neutral. If these groups want to have a say in government, let them pay taxes like the rest of us. Furthermore, I don't think corporations should have the same rights as real live human beings, and corporate political donations should not be treated as a freedom of speech issue, again, with the same rights as living breathing citizens. Religions and corporations are man made creations, and have no inherent rights.

Not sure you answered what system is better than capitalism in the reply.

I don't have a particular beef with capitalism per se. I do have a problem with capitalism when it is allowed to run rampant, without regulation, allowing greedy people to use capitalism to steal. Capitalism worked great for Bernie Madoff, and Ken Lay, and the CEOs of various Banks and investment houses.

So because a bunch of greedy fucks that deserve to be stoned are assholes we should throw away a system that works very well for most of the country ? By the way if someone wants to be greedy they have every right as long as they don't break any laws. Baseball players can earn what ever the market will bear and I don't give a shit. I don't have to spend my money on them.

The first sentence of my last post should have answered your question. While I don't think some athletes really deserve all the megabucks they get, they do perform for their salaries. On the other hand there are CEO's who have run their companies into bankruptcy and lost their investors billions, a la ENRON, and still take home huge bonuses. If you think greed is good and just hunky-dorey, you've that right. I also have the right to think it's immoral.

Do you have an attention disorder? I never said greed was good or "hunky dorey" as you say. I just stated that is was a person's right to be greedy as long as it broke no law. Not a big fan of greedy fucks ,but they have a right to be that way.
Funny how you libs are all about diversity ...as long as you agree with it.

I think you need to get the fucking chip off your shoulder. You're the one who said it was okay to be greedy. Either own up to it, or take it back. Yes, I am a liberal. I agree with a lot of things. One thing I don't agree with is people who ONLY disagree and have no other ideas. And if the shoe fits...
