At 97 cents to the dollar, Texas is getting pretty close to everything back that they pay in.

If anybody is bailing anyone out, it would be "bastions of liberal socialism" like New York, California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts that are bailing out upstanding, self reliant states like Alaska, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina. You don't hear them whining and moaning about it either. Damn liberals.

Do you have one to show us, or do you just have nothing to say?

The chart I produced comes from the Tax Foundation, not exactly what anyone would call a liberal pinko socialist organization. It is the most current one they have, and according to the other data on their web site, the numbers are pretty consistent over the years. If they are incorrect, please enlighten us.

These congressional games have been going on for decades and neither party has any room to bitch. They've all pulled out obscure rules to either slow something up, or padded bills with pork, in the hopes of making it so distasteful that no one will vote for it. They all suck and need to be dumped for people who can see beyond the lobbyist's money and/or the next election. They are incapable of doing the peoples business. We need congressional reform worse than we need health care reform. Without it, we are all fucked.
